We celebrated yesterday evening in the beautiful surroundings of Hrádek u Nechanic. Yet another year and here we were again at the Romantic Hrádek Festival, a festival of classical and romantic music. We were welcomed to this, the nineteenth festival, by Martin Rejman, who took up the castle’s imaginary baton after more than twelve years. Our best wishes go to the previous castle manager, Ivan Šenk.
In charge of the music for the introductory concert was Johanna Hanik, twice prizewinner of the International Smetana Competition, who accompanied the excellent soprano Lucie Vagenknecht on a P210 Pasat piano.
